Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1910, Shulman, who moved to California at age 10 after living on a Connecticut farm, has a reverence for the order he perceives in both natural and architectural forms. My son has many books on architecture. I gave him this book as a gift and he absolutely loved it! He is familiar with Schulman's work but this book contained some that he had never seen before. We both agree that Schulman is a giant among architectural photographers.
